A story dreamed up on the sands of Oak Island, where Porter and Elissa once sat together, laughing and imagining adventures by the sea. Oak Island has always been a special place—our family’s home and a reminder of love, courage, and joy.
The story of Porter the Pelican is about more than finding the perfect shell. It’s about-facing fears, learning about friends, and discovering the beauty that comes with courage. Just like the tides, our family memories here keep rolling in—sparkling, shining, and timeless.

We want you to absolutely love your purchase from Blue Hydrangea Boutique! If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make the return process as easy as possible.
To start a return, simply email shopbluehydrangea@gmail.com to request a return label. Some orders already include a prepaid return label—if yours does, just place the item back in the original bag, attach the label, and drop it in your mailbox.
Return Eligibility
- Items must be new, unworn, unwashed, and have all original tags attached.
- Returns received within 30 days of the purchase date are eligible for a refund to your original form of payment.
- Returns received 31–90 days from the purchase date are eligible for store credit.
- We are unable to accept returns after 90 days.
Final Sale
All sale, clearance, and discounted merchandise is final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer exchanges. If you need a different size or color, simply return your eligible item and place a new order for the one you’d like. This is the quickest way to ensure you get the item before it sells out!

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or store credit promptly. You’ll receive an email confirmation as soon as your return has been completed.
